Bright deep ruby hue and initially showing quite ripe and fleshy fruit. But underneath lie brooding and dense Cabernet aromatics – ripe blackberry, cedar and gravel with well integrated new French oak. In the mouth the wine is dry, full bodied with significant but beautifully fine grained tannins that drive a typically elegant Moss Wood finish. It needs time but is certainly one of the finer Moss Wood Cabernet releases.
