Full red colour with a faint tinge of purple, the bouquet pleasantly savoury with traces of earth, leather and smoky charcuterie, quite complex. Some raspberry. The wine is medium-bodied and again the savouriness is striking and very appealing. A very tasty mouthful of pinot. There is some gravitas to the palate, which has nicely tailored soft but ample tannins. 5/11/2017
