A gently leafy and minty nose that has bright ripe red fruits as well as blueberries and cassis, plus violet-like florals too. The palate is dense and handsomely structured; there’s a light peppery edge, tannins are chalky and there’s a reassuring tautness to the finish. Best from 2018.
