Impressive cabernet from this vineyard. Shows tremendous structure and poise, which is a feature of the wines from Ribbon Vale. Blackcurrant and bay leaf with a little varietal graphite. The palate is still firm, but with excellent fruit weight supported by a core of tannin and oak that effortlessly takes the wine to a long finish.
