Moss Wood Mornington Peninsula 2010 Pinot Noir – Rod Properjohn, Subiaco Post

Rating: Stars

Although from the celebrated Moss Wood of Margaret River, the fruit is sourced from Mornington, south-east of Melbourne. It’s the winery’s other pinot and is from a quality vintage in southern Victoria. A mid to deep red colour, it offers a ripe strawberry and mulberry nose and a soft up-front palate with polite tannins, juicy texture and long lasting spice and subtle toasty oak to a satisfying finish. Enjoy with milk-fed lamb.
